Sync
Sync is an auditorium remote control for individual use. It was designed for lecturers and speakers, proposing in one gadget the control of several functions found separately in a variety of electronic devices of an auditorium.
The remote has an intuitive interface, creating a menu for controlling the proposed functions. This project embraced ergonomic product studies to properly design, considering user research, user interface, wireframes and prototyping studies.
The proposed fabrication process is plastic injection moulding. Some intermediate concepts and a final 1:1 scale 3D model was sculpted in expanded foam. All 3D modelling and renders were done in Solidworks, and the graphics using Photoshop.
